A versatile, wind and water-resistant stand-alone hood with a soft peak, constructed from Swiss-made Ventile® cotton. This quality fabric delivers an ideal balance between weather performance, soft touch, and high abrasion resistance.
Ventile® cotton was initially developed by The Shirley Institute in the 1930s and is exclusively made from the world’s 2% highest-grade cotton crops. It is spun into an incredibly densely structured fabric to achieve its unique waterproof characteristics, further improved by an eco-friendly PFC-free durable water repellency finish (DWR).

Lightweight aluminium adjustment buckle custom-made in England. Popper buttons made in Italy. Fabricated in London.
Gently brush or sponge off any dirt. Turn the garment inside out. Machine wash one item at a time in warm water on a gentle cycle using pure liquid soap. Ensure all residue soap is removed from the garment, re-rinse if necessary. Reshape the garment and allow to dry naturally. Iron carefully on a warm setting – this reactivates the DWR treatment.
The Stormhood is designed to be worn in various configurations, on its own, over a beanie or as a second layer covering the hood of a sweater.
One size L fits all. Fit can be adjusted with a belt in the neck. Max circumference 62 cm.

Orders outside the UK are sent Delivery Duties Unpaid (DDU), meaning any import charges are paid by the recipient upon delivery.
EU orders: Import VAT is usually charged on delivery (rate depends on your country). Most of our UK‑made items typically clear with 0% customs duty (EU–UK Trade Agreement). Import VAT may still apply.
Your courier may also charge a small handling fee.
Returns: You have 28 days from receipt to return items for an exchange or refund.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Return shipping isn’t covered. Any import VAT/duties paid to customs aren’t refunded by us (and may be reclaimable from customs in some cases).
