A hardwearing unisex pullover anorak made from Scottish waxed cotton. Designed for everyday use, the Scout Anorak can be worn throughout the year as a final layer for protection from wind and rain. The relaxed, boxy cut makes it both an ideal layering piece during the cold seasons and an oversized throw-on garment on warmer days. Its unique detailing includes a narrow hood construction that allows peripheral vision, even when pulled tight.
Materials and Care
Outer 100% BCI PIMA cotton, Lining 100% Cotton
The outer fabric is a contemporary version of traditional waterproof cotton which develops a unique patina over time, moulding itself to its wearer. The C4X blend wax formula is soft to the touch while providing excellent weather performance and durability. We recommend reproofing the anorak occasionally.
Keep away from heat.
The waxed outer fabric may rub off onto surfaces.
Do not wash. Wipe stains with a wet sponge only.
The fabrics used for this garment are BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) certified.
Waxed cotton dyed and proofed by Halley Stevensons of Dundee, Scotland.
Corozo buttons made in Gloucester by Courtney & Co.
Fabricated by Tower Garments, London.
Specific to this colourway:
The wax finish darkens down the shades in the Black Watch tartan, so much so that it is almost unseen when the garment is brand new. Through wear, the colours of the tartan will break through as the wax naturally cracks, creases and patinas.
Oversized cut with wide raglan shoulders.
